Our History
UKFVA is a not-for-profit association comprising of Producer Organisations who have been in operation since 1997. Producer Organisations (POs) have been at the heart of the UK fresh produce sector, supporting growers and promoting high-quality produce nationwide.
Our association brings together growers across a wide range of crops including: soft, top & stone fruit, protected edibles & glasshouse crops, peas, mushrooms, alliums, and root crops.
Our Members
We represent UK-registered Producer Organisations, comprising approximately 1,000 grower members—accounting for 43% by value of all UK-grown fresh produce. This makes us a fully national network of growers, spanning key agricultural regions including Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Yorkshire, Kent, West Sussex, the West Midlands, Lincolnshire, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
