Formed in the summer of 2025 as a result of the work of the Producer Organisations (POs) Steering Group, the UKFVA was established to create a recognised and unified voice for the UK edible horticulture sector.
Born from a shared commitment to collaboration, the association exists to enhance the visibility, recognition, and representation of edible horticulture; to advocate for the interests of its members in dialogue with government, regulators, and the wider farming sector; and to ensure that the collective voice of edible horticulture is both heard and valued.
Comprised of members across Producer Organisations, growers and industry partners, we aim to strengthen market access, raise public awareness of the sector’s essential role in feeding the nation, and provide expert input into the development of legislation, policy, and standards within the horticulture sector.
The UKFVA also works to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, research, and innovation amongst its members, while promoting professionalism, best practice, and high industry standards for the benefit of all members and the broader horticultural community.
